12th annual Congress of Iranian Pediatric Endocrinology and Metabolism Association was held 18-20 April 2019 in the city of Gorgan.
This annual congress gathers all pediatric endocrinologists and specialists to review the latest findings in this field and update the practice guidelines based on international recommendations. As of previous years, Farir Asa Teb was one the main sponsors in this congress and had an active presence inside the exhibitors area.
Following the annual strategic objectives, our marketing team prepared for a proactive presence to maximize the engagement and deliver key messages to important contacts regarding the online education project (KIDS) and our quality diabetes portfolio.
The online diabetes education project that has now reached 21 cities, was one of the main focuses in our booth. Having gathered the profiles of all associate physicians, nurses and educators in the project, created an inspiring map outlining the extent of the project throughout the country.
Farir Asa Teb aims to expand the project to 30 cities by the end of March 2020, and has targeted new cities in less developed provinces as well.
Our other key message in this congress, was the launch of 4mm/33G PiC pen needles in Iran. This unique product that aims to improve treatment adherence for people with diabetes, has proved to inflict less injection pain and is believed to be a great choice for children with diabetes as well as patients with needle-phobia.The launch of this new pen needle was announced through a competition among physicians to convey the specifications and advantages of the product while maximizing their engagement. All attending physicians of the congress also received sample boxes of both 4mm PiC pen needles (32G & 33G).
